SEEMiS Group is an Education Management Information System (MIS) provider. As the standard MIS within Scottish Education, all local student data is processed and managed by SEEMiS software offering interfaces with external agencies such as ScotXEd and SQA.

At the heart of our product set is SEEMiS Click+Go which offers a wide range of modules to support Pupil and Staff record management including Nursery Application Management System (NAMS), Attendance, Pastoral notes, Tracking Monitoring and Reporting.

By working closely with its members and the strategic bodies responsible for the education direction in Scotland, SEEMiS looks to continually improve its product set and support local authorities and their associated schools deliver their statutory and discretionary responsibilities.

Service Update

  • Service Issues - 23 August, 10:00

    We have been advised that the upgrade by SWAN has been carried out successfully.

    Services appear to have returned to normal however we will continue to monitor.

  • Emergency Service Outage due to SWAN Infrastructure Upgrades – All SEEMiS Services 22nd August 20:00-21:00

    Please be advised that, following conversations with both Capita and Education Scotland, an emergency change has now being scheduled for 20:00 tonight affecting all SEEMiS services.

    This outage is required to allow for an upgrade of key SWAN infrastructure (router firmware upgrades). Whilst there remains a risk that this does not address current connectivity issues Capita have advised us that it is required to rule out a known bug with the existing router software that can lead to performance issues.

    We will monitor services closely over the course of tomorrow morning and will provide a further status update by 10:00am (23 Aug).

    Please be advised this has now been raised as a major incident with SWAN.

    We are presently in contact with SWAN.  SWAN and SEEMiS are working together to resolve these issues.

    Please be aware that we are receiving a high volume of calls from multiple authorities (application crashing / hanging and HTTPS transport errors).

    We are currently investigating however, to date, we have not been able to identify any issues. We are therefore contacting SWAN to see if there is a wider connectivity issue and will keep you updated.
