SEEMiS Services – SWAN1 to SWAN2 Move, Saturday 19th July
Following the recent Data Centre move and as part of the wider national SWAN1 to SWAN2 move initiative, SEEMiS will now be moving its services across from SWAN1 to SWAN2 on Saturday 19th July from 09:30.
No changes are required by the LA as part of this work however a short outage will be required on the day to complete the move. On completion of the move, notifications will be provided via email (to contacts previously provided for the recent Data Centre move unless advised otherwise) and via the SEEMiS Website.
It is appreciated that some LAs any not be able to undertake post move testing over that weekend, however any basic testing of Click+Go following the move will help to reduce the risk of unexpected issues being experienced when LAs return on Monday 21st July. Should any issues be identified please log a SEEMiS Helpdesk case.
Note: The quarterly maintenance window, scheduled for 12th July (SEEMiS Maintenance Calendar) will continue to be required as advertised.
SEEMiS Turnaround Dates 2025
The dates for Turnaround have been confirmed as Monday 7th July to Friday 18th July 2025. During this time there will be limited access to certain menus.
During turnaround, we will also be carrying out server and certificate updates which will result in prolonged disruption to service.
Reminders for schools prior to Turnaround:
Primary and Nursery
All should have fully completed the Primary Wizard process in Click+Go before turnaround.
Secondary
All schools to have completed Analyse and Merge in Click+Go - Application | Next Session | SETTS | Timetable | Merge, then click analyse.
Do not complete the process with discrepancies – a warning message will be shown with a discrepancy report.
Failure to complete analyse and merge prior to turnaround will result in incomplete timetables for the return in August.
